Hey Guys! Today I want to tell you a story about the time i was hunting and we flipped our boat. We were heading up river after a great morning of hunting when we came upon some unexpected rocks. We decided it was to risky to try and get the motor through so I decided to walk us through the rocks and back to open water. We got about half way through when I felt the bottom drop away from my feet. I grabbed a hold of the boat before my waders could fill with water and pull me under. As I did this my buddy who was in the boat launched forward to grab my hand. Now those of you who know anything about a 12 foot V bottom boot is that they're not very sturdy. So of course with all the weight on one side we put one corner of the boat under and the water rushed in like a flowing waterfall. I quickly let go of the boat, jumped back into the neck high water with rocks all around me and held up the boat with all the strength in me. My waders were full of water and I was scared I was going to get sucked under and die. My buddy jumped out, yanked me and the boat to shore, and sat down with a sigh of relief. We dried off our guns and accessed the damage. After awhile of relaxing and calming our nerves we set out into the treacherous water yet again and made our way to shore for a dry towel and a big warm breakfast. Be safe out there guys as you never know when your life will flash before your eyes!
